EDIT by Savio: moved from here because it's a different topic.
Gold sinks and Sonya of Red's post about experimenting have got me thinking... a Weapon shop in Chapter 2. I am sure many people would agree that it would be nice to have a weapon shop that sold weapons like the IDS for a certain sum of gold, but the weapon was always blue had a requirment of 9 and maybe some limitation to it like only being able to upgrade one mod only.

That's what the weapon crafters are supposed to be. Now if they only offered most or all of the PvP level weapons and focus items instead of forcing players to go take collector items to places like Mineral Springs...

Hrmmm... I think you read wrong or interpreted wrong. I meant Weapon actual sellers no need to craft etc. Thats the reason for the gold sink in the beginning of my post. An example would be setting the price somewhere reasonble as to not increase prices for similar gold items too much, but the weapons seller provide weapon with some sort of restriction (i.e. one weapon mod only) and cost slightly less than an equivalent gold version. Semi-rare/Rare graphics/skin will be unaffected and still be there for PvE nuts to farm for or buy. It just levels the field back down so you dont need a hefty account to buy a decent sword or spend hours looking for the collector and items. Plus it will be a decent gold sink and farmers will be affected somewhat i.e. low level gold items will go down in price BUT high level items with special skins will remain there for the players who like "uber looking loot with phat stats". Keeps both camps happy and doesn't discriminate against anyone.

I don't care either way about weapon shops. I would very much like to see a trader introduced which buys/sells weapon upgrades. I like to use my pve characters for pvp from time to time and I sometimes need specific weapon upgrades. It can take forever to find someone selling what I need and then they might want some stupid price for it.
